How It Works

1. Decide on Your Mailing Area

The first step is to decide on the area around your business you would like to reach with your new mover postcard. This is called your "mailing area". You can select certain ZIP codes or you can use a mileage radius around your location. Plus, you can even "hand-pick" and include specific neighborhoods/subdivisions from outside your main mailing area.

2. Submit a Free Count Report

To help you estimate your monthly investment, complete this online count request. Using our new mover history file, we will let you know the average number of potential customers who move into your mailing area each month.

To calculate your monthly investment, simply multiply your average new mover count by the cost per piece. For example, if the average number of potential customers moving in your ZIP code is 68, your estimated monthly investment is 68 x 89¢ per piece (total cost of around $60.52 a month). The number of potential customers moving does vary from month-to-month so this is just a guide. You can reach all new movers in your area or you can reduce the number to any quantity you choose.

3. Postcard Design

Using the pictures you provide or images from our photo library, our designers will put together a custom design of your new resident marketing postcard. These pictures could include your building, happy customers or anything you want. Another option is provide finished artwork and we can provide production specifications to your designer.

You also provide text for the back including the welcome message and special offer. The special offer is often considered the most important part of your program. In short, the bigger the offer, the bigger the response. We take care of the map.

Once you approve the postcard, it is printed and prepared for mailing.

4. Monthly Mailings

Using our freshly updated new mover mailing list, we address and mail your postcards to potential customers who have just moved into your mailing area during the previous month. Your postcards are delivered to the Post Office around the 15th of each month. Remember, there are:

  • No contracts to sign: This is an automatic monthly program but you can stop your mailings at any time
  • No set-up fees: The 89¢ cost per piece includes EVERYTHING: postcard design, printing, the mailing list, addressing and postage
  • No mailing minimums: We have some companies mailing 20 postcards a month
  • 100% deliverability guarantee: Receive a full credit on every piece that is returned to you because it couldn't be delivered
  • No monthly account fees: Your total cost is based on the number of pieces that we mail for you
  • Flexible payment options: Pay by credit card or invoice (net 30)

5. Free Labels

Toward the end of each month, you will receive a copy of your mailing list on peel and stick labels. You will also receive a "paid" invoice if we processed your credit card or an invoice. You will also receive printed samples of your postcard with your first invoice.
