Step one in creating an email: K.I.S.S. - Keep it simple stupid. The subject line of the email is the most simplistic component of the entire email. Other elements to consider are the preheader, header, headline, sub heads, image(s), copy and signature.

Macy's has taken a different step in their marketing strategy and partnered with a very familiar advertising agency, BBDO (New York). In hopes to increase their sales after ten back-to-back negative quarters, Macy's sought out a new approach to their television ads.
